Our journey to weight loss and to a better healthier lifestyle is always a complex issue. Our impatient nature as human beings drives us to opt for temporary quick-fix results but there are those who take fitness and nutrition seriously. Hence, weight gain despite of cautious healthy diet and regular excise for the latter group is a kind of enigma to decipher.
However, there are many factors which can contribute to body weight gain. It is not only calories and the lack of physical activities. You will notice that sometimes your friends or relatives start to gain more weight while on certain medications. Some medicines have this reaction to the body though it does not generally apply to all.
Another factor that contributes to incessant gaining is the illness. You may think that you are well but you may wonder as why your weight is ballooning. It can be symptoms of serious illness which is related to liver, kidney or heart. So if you are in this kind of health predicament, then it is better to consult your physician now for proper check up and diagnosis.
It is also a known fact that age plays a vital factor in keeping your ideal weight. Metabolism starts to slow down as you age. It means though you eat the same amount of food and continue the same level of fitness there is high probability that you will still gain extra kilos as you age. As you approach the age of thirties and forties, it is really recommended to make extra effort in taking care of your body.
There are people also who tend to eat more in times of depression. Their unstable emotion can trigger them to over eat and to crave specific foods hence resulting to weight gain. In this case, try to divert your depression or loneliness. Alternatively you can engage in sports and hang out with your cyclist friends. It is a good way to escape cravings and indulgence specially sweets such as chocolates and ice creams.
